If you’re into beautiful beaches, nature trails, boating, and camping, you’ll want to check out Lake Havasu State Park. With year-round ideal weather, this special spot is a stunning retreat with an abundance of activities.
Located in western Arizona, Lake Havasu State Park is a beach oasis in the desert. This diverse landscape is also home to a variety of animals and plants. In the spring, you can relax on the water and see a colorful wildflower display in the mountains surrounding the lake. To learn more about the wildlife diversity in the area, visit the Arroyo-Camino Interpretive Garden located within the park.
Bring your boat and watersports gear for fun on the water (or don’t – rent equipment when you get here). Bring your clubs for a great golf game. And bring your hiking boots for an awesome hike (like the 1.5 mile Mohave Sunset Trail).
Lake Havasu is home to the world-famous London Bridge – that’s definitely worth checking out.
As far as camping goes, there are 47 campsites, three boat ramps, special events, picnic and beach areas.
