History & Nature
Migrating songbirds flit from tree to tree in the spring, adding bright splashes of color as they move through the branches. The fall months bring a riot of color in those same trees, as leaves change to red and gold, gorgeously reflecting in water below. And in winter, dangling icicles decorate the trees as the temperatures fall. No matter what time of year you visit, there’s always something new to discover.
Things To Do
Hiking is a must-do, and the trail is relatively easy with shallow streams throughout. The canyon is 14 miles from end to end, and only the first three miles of the trail are marked.
