Kick off Hummingbird Month in Sierra Vista AZ! The 33rd Southwest Wings Birding & Nature Summer Festival is a family friendly event happening from Jul 31-Aug 3, 2024, and is now centrally located at The Mall at Sierra Vista, 2200 El Mercado Loop. This is the main event with expertly guided field trips, pre-festival Jamboree, MANY free programs and fascinating presentations for kids and adults alike, exhibitors, vendors, live animals & Keynote Dinner with famed ornithologist and artist Julie Zickefoose; the small-group trips are mostly in Group Vans, with some self-drive Car Caravans available too. Come to where the birds are in Sierra Vista AZ, the Hummingbird Capital of the US! Celebrate hummingbirds!
