Where: Desert Museum

When: Sunday, September 30, 6:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Fall is the perfect time to refresh your landscape with new or replacement plants! This year’s Plant Sale will offer more than 250 different species, including many popular perennials and low shrubs. The Desert Museum will also highlight five special categories of plants that will help you create a garden that goes beyond beautiful. The categories include: butterflies, hummingbirds, desert tortoises, desert herbals, and heritage food plants. Not only will guests enjoy shopping a variety of unusual and beautiful selections, they will leave with an understanding of why the plants they purchase are significant to pollinators and people.

Proceeds from the Plant Sale support the Museum’s mission to inspire people to live in harmony with the natural world by fostering love, appreciation, and understanding of the Sonoran Desert. Sale items include leafy plants and succulents. The majority of leafy plants are priced from $9 each for one gallon pots to $20 each for the large five gallon pots. Succulents are priced as marked, starting as little as $4 each.
