World Axe Throwing League (WATL) Championship

If you haven't heard of the World Axe Throwing League (WATL), you're not alone. The upcoming World Championship in December will be the third ever held. But, while axe throwing is young, it is catching on all over the world -- WATL has more than 130 affiliated axe throwing locations in 16 countries.

With Splitting Timber Axe Range, at the Tucson Premium Outlets at Marana Center, hosting the 2019 World Championship competition, you can be part of history in the making.

The World Championship will open December 6, with more than 64 competitors from around the world. The final game that decides the World Champion will be December 8. ESPN 2 will broadcast the event live. Includes a Wildcad playoff with 128 competitors. 

The grand prize is $5,000, a trophy and the title of 2019 World Axe Throwing Champion.
