Enchanted Trail / Sendero Encantado – Nina Mason Pulliam Rio Salado Audubon Center. Enchanted Trail (Sendero Encantado) is a free annual, bilingual and educational family festival. The "nature by night" Fall festival teaches children and adults about nature, science, and Arizona's nocturnal wildlife through a scavenger hunt and several other fun activities.     Up to ten species of hummingbirds use the San Pedro River as a freeway between tropical winter retreats and northern nesting grounds, get a close-up look as staff and volunteers from the Southeastern Arizona Bird Observatory capture, band, measure, and release them as part of long-term studies of this internationally important migration route.
