Dinosaurs in the Desert

Dinosaurs in the Desert – Phoenix Zoo. 23 prehistoric creatures stand along the Zoo’s Desert Lives Trail. The self-guided tour includes animatronic dinosaur structures which move and make various sounds including the infamous roar of the tyrannosaurus rex. A fossil dig and a photo op with a pachyrhino are also available. Educational signage and guides highlight size and interesting facts.
