24th Annual Chocolate Affaire

Whether you prefer milk, dark or white chocolate; whether you like fudge, or cookies or chocolate-dipped cheesecake; or whether you are keen on nuts and caramel – you are sure to find all your sweet tooth cravings at the Glendale Chocolate Affaire, on Saturday, Feb. 9 and Sunday, Feb. 10.
Downtown Glendale will be filled with nearly 40 chocolate purveyors, featuring confections like these and so much more. The Chocolate Affaire is presented by Arizona’s famous candy makers, Cerreta Candy Company. The candy factory will offer tours all weekend and visitors can expect to find some Willy-Wonka-type magic happening and maybe a free sample of their treats.

Families with children will enjoy a variety of activities, face-painting, entertainment and more. And of course, Cerreta’s chocolate-pizza-making booth is a hit with all ages.

The Chocolate Affaire is also the southwest region’s largest gathering of romance novelists. Visitors can meet authors, get autographs and attend free writing workshops.

Did we mention there is no entry fee? Event hours are Saturday 10 a.m.- 10 p.m. and Sunday noon to 5 p.m. The event is located in the heart of Historic Downtown Glendale, in Murphy Park, located at 58th and Glendale avenues.
