68th Annual Rex Allen Days

October 4th through the 6th is the time to be in Willcox, Arizona. Right off Interstate-10 in southern Arizona, there will be family fun for everyone! The arizonagunshow.com 4th annual gun show returns to the Willcox Community center, as well as the staple events that have been going on for many years! This year, the Wild Bunch Film Festival is joining the list of great events that will be going on all weekend! See our website for up-to-date information on times and places for events as they are available and posted. You can also follow us on Facebook! Friday will be stock full of excitement as the gun show opens at 9 am, the Wild Bunch Film Festival will be showing movies at the Willcox Historic Theater all day long! At 4 pm the Fair and Carnival at Rex Allen Days kicks-off with a bang as Music, Food and fun will be rocking and rolling, country style. Don't miss the arizonagunshows.com bb/nerf range!

The City of Willcox hosts the Rex Allen Days, Inc. produced annual parade downtown on Saturday starting at 10 am. You can catch the Gun Show from 9am-5pm and the Film Festival will be in full swing through the day. The Fair and Carnival and Carshow will be open starting at 11 am, with entertainment scheduled all the way till 10 pm at night. The Rodeo at Rex Allen days Kid's pre-rodeo events start registration at 10 am, with events starting at noon, and the Grand Entry for the rodeo starts at 2 pm! Some of the best cowboys and cowgirls around will be rising up to the challenge of some of the best stock in rodeo! With some bulls boasting more buck-offs than rides (in fact, one of our southern Arizona-sponsored bulls, American Made, has YET to be ridden in 2019, and cowboys had a hard time staying on in 2018... in fact, this bull may make his PRCA appearance this year!)

Sunday the Gun show, Film Festival, Fair and Carnival continue, with the rodeo opening with kid's pre-rodeo events starting at noon. Things start to wrap up in the afternoon, but, by the time you're ready to leave, you may not have made it to all the events and you'll be longing for more! That's okay, in 2020, we'll be returning with Rex Allen's 100th birthday jubilee!!!

About Rex Allen Days:
A 501(3) non-profit, Rex Allen Days, Inc. was incorporated in 1974. The Rex Allen Days event started in 1951, as a fundraising event to help establish and build The Northern Cochise Community Hospital. Since it's inception, the RAD, Inc. non-profit has used the proceeds from Rex Allen Days to help support and fund the NCCH, as well as provide scholarships for southern Arizona graduates, as well as sponsoring local organizations such as AYSO, and the recent 5K Run in Whetsone. Our volunteers work hard to provide a link to our past heroes, and keep our western heritages alive and kicking in the 21st Century! Your donations of money and time are always appreciated. You can donate directly on our website (donation tab) and we're happy to have you volunteer your time and talents, too!
