The 4.5-mile course features nine staircases (over 1000 total steps) connected by winding roads.     Course is a single track trail run with breathtaking views (not just because of the elevation changes!) Both distances start 1 mile from the entrance of Chiricahua National Monument along Hwy 191. As soon as runners enter the park, they hit the trail system. If participating in the full 30K distance, runners will see the entire perimeter of trails (lollipop course) as they reach the summit at Masai Point and then make their way back down towards the finish line.
