Dave Stamey

Award-winning Western music artist Dave Stamey will perform at the Desert Caballeros Western Museum at 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2019.

Dave Stamey has been a cowboy, a mule packer, a dude wrangler, and is now one of the most popular Western entertainers working today. He has been voted seven times Entertainer of the Year, seven times Male Performer of the Year and five times Songwriter of the Year by the Western Music Association, and received the Will Rogers Award from the Academy of Western Artists. He has performed for audiences in 23 states, and in 2016 was inducted into the Western Music Hall of Fame.

Cowboys and Indians magazine has called him "the Charlie Russell of Western Music." Western Horseman magazine has declared his "Vaquero Song" to be one of the greatest Western songs of all time. True West magazine named him Best Living Western Solo Musician four years in a row. His ballads (often humorously) evoke the sweeping landscapes, colorful characters, and cowboy culture of the American West.

Stamey will perform in the Museum's Cultural Crossroads Learning Center at 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 2. General seating tickets are $25 and can be purchased in advance at westernmuseum.org/dave-stamey-in-concert or by calling 928-684-2272. A cash bar will be offered before the show and during intermission.
