6th Annual Shakespeare in the Pines: The Winter's Tale

The Winter’s Tale – Laark Productions

Laark Productions and the Highlands Center for Natural History present the 6th annual Shakespeare in the Pines in the Prescott National Forest:  William Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale. This popular outdoor theater experience begins with an opening reception hosted by the Highlands Center featuring brews, hors d'oeuvres, wine, soft drinks and desserts from local vendors.

A madly jealous king condemns his innocent wife and his best friend to death. A baby princess is abandoned on a distant shore where she is adopted by a kindly shepherd. A prince disguises himself as a peasant to woo a lovely maiden. The Winter’s Tale by William Shakespeare is an unusual and memorable fairy tale.

Laark Productions brings their unpretentious interpretation and creative staging to a unique forest setting at Prescott’s Highlands Center for Natural History as an annual fundraiser to support children’s nature programming.
