This event is presented in partnership with Dry Creek Arts Fellowship (DCAF).
The exhibition features new work by 80 of the country's top artists from 15 Western states including members of the Cowboy Artists of America, Traditional Cowboy Arts Association, and the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame. Trappings showcases the talents of master painters, sculptors and photographers, along with contemporary cowboy gear created by craftsmen and craftswomen. Saddles, boots, hats, knives, engraved bits and spurs, hitched horsehair and musical instruments will be featured in the exhibition.
A series of public programs will occur each Saturday (November 9, 16, 23, 30). These will include artist demonstrations, interpretive lectures, book signing, and more.
DCWM and DCAF Member Preview Sale and Artist Reception will be held Friday, November 8, 5:30 - 7:00 P.M. Attendees will have the first opportunity to purchase artwork as well as meet many participating artists.
