Desert Diamond Distillery

Owned and operated by the Patt family since 2008, and now the oldest CRAFT DISTILLERY in AZ, Desert Diamond Distillery invites visitors to take a tour, sample tastings of rums, whiskies and vodka, as well as have craft cocktails and seasonal charcuterie boards. Tours include a trip through the production room and the Barrel Room and take 20-30 minutes. Some tours might have a wait if production is in progress...

Tours – Walk ins welcome, please call if your group is over 10 people, please show up at least one hour before we close. BUSES and GROUPS welcome to schedule ahead. We keep our calendar 18 – 24 months out.

Those mature enough (21 years of age or wiser) can take part in the rum-tasting flight of four rums and a sugarcane-based vodka ($10 ~ comes with the shot glass), or the Whiskey tasting ($15 ~ with shot glass), now with three award-winning whiskeys from D3. A top tier tasting has been added in 2023 after winning a perfect score (99 never looked so good!) for our 11-year barrel-aged rum at the IWSC in London.

Would you like some delicious homemade chocolate with that? Delicious hand-made chocolate flights are available to enjoy as well.

Do you want your own BARREL? Yes, you can fill, age & bottle your own rum or whiskey in your own 5L barrel! Give 24 hours' notice and show up for your special tour, taste, and FILL. (5L barrels age in the D3 barrel room for 9-12 months, so plan ahead for those special gift-giving occasions.) At the end of the process, you come back for your own “bottling” appointment! Enjoy the whole process, and take your baby barrel home along with your bottles that have aged to perfection! Call Deborah at 928 757 7611 to schedule!

Opening again in the Fall! THE LOST TRAIN CAR KITCHEN @ D3 ! Sit on a historic train car (#30) and enjoy a cheese board or meat and cheese plate. With a selection of regular and gluten-free selection crackers, as well as Boarshead brand meat & cheeses, it's a healthy and delicious meal with great ambiance!
