Buckskin Mountain State Park

Parker

Enjoy an Arizona beach day or explore the pristine desert off-road trails. Yep, it’s possible in Parker. Waterskiing, boating, off-roading, hiking, fishing, golfing or just enjoy some fun days with friends on a floating dock bar. It’s all part of the fun in this adventurous town on Arizona’s West Coast.

Right Now

With a 16-mile stretch of the Colorado River and miles and miles of off-road trails as your playground, Parker brings the beach life to Arizona.

It’s an RVer's paradise, offering many riverfront resorts and two premiere Arizona State Parks that keep the fun activities going. Parker hosts off-road, waterskiing and drag boat races, but it's not all about the water. Play the beautiful Emerald Canyon golf course with rolling buttes and challenging holes or learn about Native American culture at the Colorado River Indian Tribes (CRIT) Museum. If you’re feeling lucky, double down with some excitement at Blue Water Resort and Casino now featuring Wake Board Island, a two-tower, cable pulley system that lets you wakeboard like a pro.

During winter the local burros are active and always enjoy meeting new friends. For a taste of the Wild West, visit the Nellie E. Saloon, famously known to locals as the “Desert Bar,"  a solar-powered desert watering hole only open on the weekends. Venture outdoors and take a hike or kayak into the wild at Bill Williams National Wildlife Refuge.

However you prefer to enjoy it, Parker is the perfect Arizona town for outdoor activities and fun.
