Travel just west of Casa Grande, and you’ll come across the charming small community of Stanfield. Located in an area of incredible beauty, this town is a hidden gem.

About 90 minutes from town, the Sonoran Desert National Monument beckons outdoor enthusiasts. Containing more than 487,000 acres of Sonoran Desert landscape, this is the most biologically diverse of North America’s deserts. Noted for an enormous saguaro cactus forest, the national monument also contains three mountain ranges: the Maricopa Mountains, the Sand Tank and Table Top Mountains, and the Booth and White Hills, all separated by valleys. You can be assured the mountains reward with incredible views in every direction.

Hiking, backpacking, stargazing, camping, hunting, motor touring, sightseeing, photography, and horseback riding are all popular activities here. Take your pick. You’re sure to be able to make the most of your visit.
