Sit back on the Yavapai County Courthouse lawn under the cool American Elm trees and some of the best Bluegrass Bands in the country.

There will be food vendors, craft booths, raffle items (supporting event) and much more for the whole family to enjoy.

Join the Prescott Chamber of Commerce for an all-weekend musical event filled with a variety of talented bluegrass bands! Thank you to Lamb Chevrolet, presenting sponsor of the 42nd Annual Prescott Bluegrass Festival. The festival will take place on Goodwin Street along the south side of Yavapai County Courthouse Plaza on Saturday, June 24, and Sunday, June 25, 2023.

The Prescott Bluegrass Festival is one of the friendliest and most entertaining local musical events you’ll experience this summer. Strangers and friends gather with their instruments around the Yavapai County Courthouse Plaza and jam some of the best Bluegrass music around. This year’s audience will witness the next generation of bluegrass talent, and the unique interpretation and genius of new, young bluegrass players.

10:45 a.m. – Opening Ceremonies

While enjoying the talented musicians take the opportunity to cool off from the signature Arizona heat with an ice-cold Pepsi and refreshing bottled water from the Bluegrass tent. Stop by one of the local food booths to get a taste of Prescott and enjoy local art at the craft booths. The Official Bluegrass Festival tent will have Prescott Bluegrass Festival merchandise for sale, be sure to stop by to keep your Prescott Bluegrass Festival memories alive! You can purchase your raffle tickets for some FUN prizes including outdoor equipment, gift baskets, hotel accommodations, and even more from one of our friendly event volunteers. Last, but certainly not least, get your photo with our amazing volunteer group, the Prescott Regulators and Their Shady Ladies!

The show begins at 11:00 am on both Saturday and Sunday, and as the Bluegrass Festival reigns in a few thousand people, make sure you bring your lawn chairs, picnic blankets, and family a few minutes early.
