Located on the Fort Apache Reservation, Hawley Lake is surrounded by striking mountain peaks and towering spruce, pine, and aspen trees. The White Mountains have ample wildlife viewing and fishing, so lake visitors don’t have to venture far to experience nature.

Hawley Lake caters to water activities of all interests and disciplines, from sailing and fishing to more rigorous activities, such as kayaking and canoeing. You can pick up your White Mountain Apache Tribal fishing permit at the lake store.

The Hawley Lake Cabins are each uniquely furnished and decorated, and stocked with kitchenware. The nearby general store provides all the necessities, so there’s nothing stopping you from having a great, relaxing time.
