Pioneer Museum

Discover history in the cool pines of Flagstaff. The former 1908 Coconino County Hospital for the Indigent is now the Arizona Historical Society Pioneer Museum. Known locally as the County Poor Farm, the land around the hospital was leased to farmers to offset operational costs of the hospital. Today it serves as a museum dedicated to preserving and interpreting the history of Flagstaff and northern Arizona. The Arizona Historical Society Pioneer Museum features permanent and temporary exhibits, programs, and special events that explore the historical development of the community and region.
