Mother Lode Mercantile

Located in Goldfield Ghost Town at the base of the legendary Superstition Mountains.

The town of Goldfield hosted the miners of the old Mammoth Mine during the late 1800s - the largest producing gold mine in Arizona. Boasting three saloons, a boarding house, brewery, blacksmith, butcher shop and a general store (Peterson’s Mercantile - today known as Mother Lode Mercantile), men from all over the country came here to stake their claim for their own treasures and gold.
The Mother Lode Mercantile offers up a melange of western gifts & souvenirs, old time candies, and gourmet chocolates, but their claim to fame is their moth-watering homemade fudge. Signature flavors include Arizona's original Prickly Pear Fudge - made from the fruit of the Prickly Pear cactus; and their decadent Gold Nugget fudge - filled with rich golden vein of caramel, macadamia nuts, then topped with REAL 23K gold. Be sure to ask for your free sample!

You'll also find a huge variety of western t-shirts and handbags here, and one of the largest selections of Prickly Pear treats in Arizona.
