Our mission is to preserve, protect and enhance wildlife populations on San Carlos for the benefit of the Tribe and the benefit of the ecosystem.
We welcome sportsmen to the San Carlos Apache tribal lands. Our vast reservation is located in east-central Arizona and spans areas of three counties: Gila, Graham and Pinal. Discover pine forests and high Sonoran desert, secluded lakes and the wild beauty of the Black River. All visitors who want to bird, camp, or hike must have a permit to be on the tribal land.
Visit our website to find the information you need, whether you’re interested in trophy hunting, big or small game, fishing or camping, hiking or birding. You’ll find schedules, licenses and regulations, along with other pertinent information like Apache guides that specialize in that activity. Our site lists more than 50 Apache guides who will show you the very best places to hunt, fish, hike, bird watch and camp.
