Many of the 40-plus historical aircraft on-site at the Valle, Arizona facility are still flyable.
REOPENING APRIL 2018!
The Mission of Planes of Fame Air Museum is to preserve aviation history, inspire interest in aviation, educate the public, and honor aviation pioneers and veterans. The Museum spans the history of manned flight from the Chanute Hang Glider of 1896 to the Space Age of Apollo.
What started as a small collection of 10 airplanes in Chino, California has grown to more than 150 aircraft across two facilities, including the newest in Valle, Arizona, between Williams and the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Roughly 40 aircraft from the Planes of Fame Air Museum reside in Arizona, and many remain flyable.
