Fort Lowell Museum tells the historic story of Fort Lowell during the Apache Wars. Housed in a accurate replica of the Commanding Officers quarters, circa 1885, the building holds permanent and changing exhibits featuring military artifacts. Further along in the park, a self-guided, signed trail leads to a prehistoric Hohokam village called the Hardy site. The same trail also leads to some of the fort's historic buildings.
