What: Calling all cocktail lovers, the 2014 Arizona Cocktail Week (AZCW) Wristbands are now on sale www.arizonacocktailweek.com/wristband. For only $10, wristband wearers are entitled to an entire week (February 14 – 21, 2014) of exclusive discounts at the dozens of bars, lounges and restaurants participating in this third annual salute to Arizona thriving cocktail culture as well as a handful of exclusive ticket-only events. Even better, a portion of the proceeds from each wristband sold will go to support JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) and its efforts to help fund type one diabetes research.
In exchange for their $10, AZCW Wristband wearers will be offered discounted cocktail specials all week at participating venues. A couple of featured establishments include The House Brasserie, in Old Town Scottsdale, where AZCW Wristband wearers can indulge in a Pimm’s Mule at a reduced $8 (normally $11) all-day, everyday; plus receive bottomless mimosas for $10 during brunch. At St. Francis sip on the Exeter – featuring Tangelo infused Vodka, St. Germain and fresh squeezed grapefruit juice shaken and strained over ice – for just $5, limit two per customer.
AZCW wristband wearers will also be granted exclusive access to some of AZCW’s signature events such as the Tasting Panel Tasting Bar at the Sands Building at the Hotel Valley Ho on Saturday, February 15 and Sunday, February 16 from 10:30am-5pm; the Recovery Room where wristband wearers can relax with b12 injections, massages, and specialty recovery cocktails on Sunday, February 16 and Monday, February 17 from 9am-Noon; the Artisanal Spirit & Cocktail Market – a sampling event featuring boutique spirits, micro-distillers, bitters, and everything cocktail related – on Monday, February 17 from 1-4pm; and after the Last Slinger Standing bartending competition on Monday, February 17 join the after-party at Mabel’s on Main at 10pm for a beer-and-shots only event. • 11+ rides to an AZCW partner venue throughout the week and receive a $30 credit.
