Celebrate the 35th anniversary of Southwest Wings, Arizona's longest-running nature festival. Based in Sierra Vista, the Hummingbird Capital of the U.S., Southwest Wings is an educational celebration of the remarkable diversity of birds, mammals, reptiles, insects, and the unique Sky Island ecosystems of southeastern Arizona. Serious birders, photographers, naturalists, and casual outdoor enthusiasts come together for expert-led field trips, educational presentations, workshops, a Nature Expo, keynote events, and opportunities to explore one of North America's premier birding destinations. On August 6, the Keynote Dinner features distinguished local naturalist Peg Abbott presenting Arizona's Sky Islands: Insights and Inspiration.
