WinterFest/BookFest

The mission of this annual event is to bring together environmentalists, nature lovers, history enthusiasts, and local community supporters for a day of discovery, learning, and connection. Through interactive exhibits and presentations, we aim to inspire stewardship of Arizona’s natural, cultural, and historic treasures.

WinterFest highlights the land, water, wildlife, and outdoor activities that make our region special. Enjoy hands-on exhibits from the Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Forest Service, Sierra Club, Sonoran Reptiles, Heritage Park Zoo, Friends of the Agua Fria National Monument, and many more.

BookFest offers the opportunity to meet Arizona authors, booksellers, and illustrators who celebrate our state’s history and environment. Talk with exhibitors such as Glory Bound Publishers and local Arizona writers.

The Old Cañon School Museum will be open for tours, and visitors can browse local crafts and enjoy refreshments for sale.
