Historic Cemetery Tour

Step into Mesa’s past at our annual Historic Cemetery Tour! This self-guided walking tour brings history to life as guest narrators share the fascinating stories of those who shaped our community.

This year’s tour highlights include:
• A deputy wounded in a dramatic 1930s shootout with bank robbers
• A traveling magician who wowed CCC camps and schools across the country
• A beloved Chicago Cubs sports broadcaster
• A childhood friend of author Laura Ingalls Wilder
• Mesa’s mayor during WWII
• A circus elephant trainer saved by his wife’s quick thinking
…and more!

Event Details:
• Self-guided walking tour with speakers at each featured gravesite
• Includes free admission to the Mesa Historical Museum (valid Oct. 25 only)
• Tickets: $15 in advance at www.mesahistoricalmuseum.com or $20 at the door
• Online sales close Friday, Oct. 24 at 5 PM
• On event day, check-in at the Center St. entrance for your wristband, map, and waiver. 
• Tickets will also be available for purchase at check-in.
