Black and White Ball
The Desert Foothills Library (DFL) invites the
community to save the date for its upcoming fundraising event, the Black and White Ball, on
Saturday, November 1, from 5 to 9 p.m.
The evening will take place at the non-profit Desert Foothills Library, located at 38443 N.
School House Road in Cave Creek. Inspired by Truman Capote’s iconic Black and White Ball,
guests will experience a night of glamour, elegance, and community celebration.
Guests can expect music, dancing, cocktails, a sit-down plated dinner and an unforgettable
evening of classic glamour, timeless black-and-white elegance, and community celebration. An
exclusive Speakeasy VIP experience is also available.
“We are thrilled to bring this reimagined black-tie affair to the library,” said Library Executive
Director Debra Lay. “It’s a wonderful opportunity to support library programs while enjoying an
unforgettable evening.”
General admission tickets are $250 per person, and the Speakeasy VIP experience is $325 per
person. Pre-registration is required. www.dfla.org.
Proceeds from the event will directly benefit the library’s educational programs, lifelong learning
initiatives, and community services, ensuring that Desert Foothills Library continues to provide
free resources, classes, and cultural events that enrich lives throughout the Cave Creek and
Carefree areas.
