69th Annual Fort Verde Days

Step back in time and celebrate Arizona’s frontier heritage at Camp Verde’s 69th Annual Fort Verde Days, the town’s longest-running community festival honoring Fort Verde State Historic Park and Camp Verde’s place in Arizona history.

This two-day event features a lively mix of parades, live music, historic tributes, and family-friendly activities—all set against the backdrop of one of Arizona’s best-preserved military posts from the Indian Wars era.

Saturday, October 11

7:00–9:30 AM – Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast

10:00 AM – Fort Verde Days Parade led by Grand Marshal Dr. Jim Bleak. This year’s theme, “The Heart of Arizona,” honors the people, places, and traditions that make Camp Verde central to Arizona’s story.

11:00 AM–6:00 PM – Festival Grounds Open

Live Music Throughout the Day featuring Andrew McGowan, The Hellcats with Devil Don & Arvel Bird, Char Carroll & Friends, and The Cassandra Long Band.

Sunday, October 12

11:00 AM–4:00 PM – Festival Grounds Open

11:00 AM–12:00 PM – Little Britches & Petticoats Contest

Live Music featuring The Cartwrights and Mystery Train.

Axe Throwing (fundraising activity)

Kids Adventure Zone (bounce houses, sandbox, games)

Pony Rides

Don't miss the Fort Verde Days Rodeo held on Friday and Saturday nights hosted by the Camp Verde Arena Association at the Camp Verde Equestrian Center 1495 E Hideout Arena Ln, Camp Verde.
