Poppy Harpman Events will present Hometown Harvest, taking place at the Valley’s ridiculously popular Rhythm Room, on June 11th and will feature an evening of all original compositions and original arrangements by Arizona’s own, Eric Ramsey, Segal & Epoch and Poppy Harpman & The Storm. Poppy Harpman Events is proud to bring Hometown Harvest to The Rhythm Room, located at 1019 E. Indian School Road in Phoenix, for the first time.

Hometown Harvest will cultivate a hearty helping of homegrown blues with local artists, including 2022 International Blues Challenge Winner, Eric Ramsey. Also on the bill is Segal & Epoch. Garry Segal has toured with Bo Diddley, John Mayall and Magic Dick. Tall Paul Epoch was the 2019 Northern Blues Alliance IBC winner. Rounding out the night is Poppy Harpman, with his band, The Storm, who has shared the stage with The Doobie Brothers, Cheap Trick, Gov’t Mule, The Black Crowes and Blues Traveler and most recently, The Commodores and Train and has opened for Derek Trucks and Bad Company. Poppy’s first release was endorsed by Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band guitarist, Nils Lofgren and his latest releases were coproduced and arranged by Paul Gurvitz, formerly of the Baker Gurvitz Army (as in Ginger Baker).

The show will run from 6 pm to 9 pm. Tickets are $10 at the door. Doors open at 5 pm. This is an intimate engagement so seating is limited. Parking is free and there will be a food truck on site serving until 8 pm. “The night will span all facets of blues music from traditional blues, Chicago blues, Delta blues to blues rock and even progressive blues. This show has proven to be a new staple in flaunting high caliber local talent in Arizona.”, spouted event founder, Poppy Harpman. Poppy gained national notoriety when he appeared live on the HLN Network, a subsidiary of CNN, performing the Jodi Arias Song that he penned during the trial of the song-titled convict, leading to interviews and news reports by local CBS and Fox affiliates.
