High Country Art Association Hosting Annual Fourth of July Festival
in Pinetop-Lakeside, Arizona
One of the most popular annual summer events in Arizona’s scenic – and cool! - White Mountains is the Fourth of July Arts and Crafts Festival hosted by the High Country Art Association.
“This year’s event is being held four days, rather than the usual three,” explained glass artist and event chair Sandy Pendleton. “Since the fourth falls on a Thursday and many visitors make a long weekend over this holiday it made sense to add a day to the festival.”
More than 40 artists participate in the family-friendly show that features a wide variety of work by artists from all over the country. Arts and crafts expected in 2019 include painting, scratch board, photography, glass, clay, and jewelry not to mention an assortment of specialty foodstuffs.
Located in the beautiful apple and pear orchard behind Charlie Clark’s renowned restaurant, at 1701 E. White Mountain Blvd., the event features food and drinks as well as live music. Festival hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. July 4-5-6 and 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. July 7.
