2nd Annual Chandler International Film Festival

The second annual Chandler International Film Festival is set to return to the Crowne Plaza San Marcos Resort in Chandler, Arizona on January 12-15, 2018. Kicking off a star-studded event, the Friday night premier film will be “The Competition” directed by Harvey Lowry and staring Thora Birch, Chris Klein, Claire Coffee and David Blue. The film is a romantic comedy that follows Lauren Mauldin, a successful blogger who develops her own theory on romance encouraging women to break up with the men they date after six months in order to avoid heartbreak.

Screening of “The Competition” will take place at the Harkins Crossroads Theater in Chandler, AZ. Beginning with a red carpet and opening ceremony to launch the four-day Chandler International Film Festival. Tickets to the Friday night premier are available online at www.chandlerfilmfestival.com/tickets.

CIFF will screen over 150 films over the course of its four day event with premier, feature and short film screenings spanning categories including comedy, drama, action, horror, suspense, animation, and more. These unique, creative and diverse films come from passionate, independent global filmmakers bringing novel ideas and varied art forms to the craft. Other highlights include red carpet opening ceremonies, educational workshops, a film auction, film market, after parties each day and an awards ceremony.

Daily passes include general admission and VIP options, pricing ranges from $35-$115 per day. Or, for the mega film fans – there is an all access VIP pass available that includes all of the benefits of VIP access for all four days, that ticket is $330, a 20% savings over purchasing VIP days individually. All ticketing levels include access to film screenings and after parties. Tickets are on-sale now at www.chandlerfilmfestival.com/tickets.

In addition to the daily ticketed events, CIFF has teamed up with the City of Chandler to offer a free movie screening at the Chandler Multicultural Festival on Saturday, January 13, 2018.
