Sisters Fran and Phoebe and their friend Axel are on an end of summer road trip when their car suddenly breaksdown outside a cemetery. After witnessing a somewhat disturbing seance, they reluctantly accept help from Madeline and Malachi Dressel, a devoted couple who the trio quickly find out love their doll collection as if it were their real family. As the night draws long, Fran begins to see things that reveal several dark secrets neither Madeline nor Malachi intended her to see. Now she must find a way out before the entire Dressel family turn on them in deadly fashion. Inspired by the social media account, All My Plastic Children, Dolls: A Murder Mystery transports us into this terrifying world through various dance styles, including contemporary, hip hop, tap, and, for the first time on the CaZo stage, aerial and ballet, and four alternate endings that are sure to surprise and terrify! Come witness your favorite childhooddolls haunt the stage—and your dreams—in this wildly entertaining, all-new dance production that may end differently with each new performance.
