Grab the whole family and come give a big ol’ Superior HEEHAW! The BRAY Superior Jackass Dash is back, and promises to be a day you won’t want to miss. In a nod to the mining history of the Copper Corridor, the intrepid trail runners participating in the BRAY Superior Jackass Dash will be teamed up with none other than a miner's best friend - their trusty burro! Watching these team blaze a lightning-fast trail (okay, some are proceeding at more of a meander) to the Tonto National Forest is a sight you don't want to miss! While the teams are out completing the course, spectators can mosey up and down beautiful Main Street Superior; flanked by the gorgeous Superstition mountains, this historic mining town boasts shops, galleries, restaurants, and even a tasting room featuring Arizona wines, not to mention the live entertainment, kid zone, and burro ambASSadors meeting and greeting folks who would like a chance to get up close and personal with a donkey. The event is free to watch, and fun for all ages, but we do ask that you please leave your dogs at home - some of these donkeys may mistake Fido for a campsite intruder and take matters into their own hooves.
