Annual Tucson Celtic Festival and Scottish Highland Games

The British Isles will return to Tucson at the 36th Tucson Celtic Festival and Scottish Highland Games; Friday, Nov. 4 through Sunday, Nov. 6; at Rillito Raceway Park, 4502 N. 1st Avenue, Tucson.

The three-day festival will feature Celtic, Irish, and Scottish music; Irish and Highland dancing; Scottish athletics; bagpipe bands; foods; beers; whiskies; fine crafts for sale; kids’ activities; and more.
Crowd-pleasing Celtic bands scheduled are Tempest, Celtic Nova Traveler, Out of Kilters, and the Noble McCoy Band. Plus, Circus Farm will perform fire dancing.

The three-day weekend festival will start with Friday’s Viking Night concert, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Concert admission is $20 for adults (age 16 and older); $15 for seniors, military, and students; and $5 for children under age 16.
Saturday open hours are 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.; and Sunday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission ranges from $6 for kids to $23 for adults, with military, senior, and student discounts. Sunday admission is less. Children (age 5 and younger) may enter free both days. Parking is free.


Hosted by the non-profit Tucson Celtic Festival Association, the annual event is the largest of its kind in Southern Arizona.
