Miami

Just six miles west of its sister city Globe, the town of Miami offers a fun trip back in time in its antiques district.

Right Now

Start with an energizing sip at a coffee shop, then browse your way back into the good ol’ days. Miami’s collection of eight fun and funky antiques shops offer furniture, collectibles, and just plain neat stuff. Once you’ve made your picks, stroll through the streets to admire the historic architecture.

Mining has been the backbone of this community for many years, and the town has two copper mines. But there’s more than just copper in the region’s mountains – outdoor activities abound, from historic sites to beautiful parks with trails for every skill level.

A short drive delivers you to the awe-inspiring Salt River Canyon. Bring a travel companion so you can take turns driving – keeping one pair of eyes on the road’s hairpin turns while the other gawks at the rust-colored gorge.
