McDowell Sonoran Conservancy

The nonprofit McDowell Sonoran Conservancy manages the McDowell Sonoran Preserve in partnership with the City of Scottsdale. More than 650 steward volunteers provide their time to help visitors experience, enjoy and learn about the Sonoran Desert. The Preserve comprises more than 195 miles of trails across 30,580 total acres. Free guided hike and bike tours are offered weekly. Young children will enjoy our Conservancy Kids interactive learning program with fun and engaging outdoor activities. Please check our website for a full schedule of tours and programs available.
