Discovery Mt. Lemmon Sizzling Hot Cool Summer Hike in the Coronado National Forest.
SO IT'S HOT IN TUCSON! We don't care as the temperature difference where we'll be hiking has been up to 39 degrees cooler. Natural air conditioning it is! Tell your friends about this one.
After a scenic drive up the Catalina Highway, we'll pass numerous photo ops with awesome vistas. You trail guide selects different trails every day. Sometimes that is determined by weather. Each trail is unique. When you begin your trekking experience, your guide will show you certain points and things of interest. There may be panoramic city views, waterfalls, creeks flowing with fresh, cold water, animal life and many species of cacti. Most of the time this guided hike leaves in the morning hours. Our Hike'N'Lunch option is available with a minimum of 2 on your reservation. You may be going on a day that takes you up to Sabino Canyon. If so, and if your group all want to go, take the tram ride up to some of the forest's inner trails and start your hike there. (Tram is $8 additional.) To get to the trail head, you can save money and take advantage of our Hike'N'Drive specials with Enterprise, Avis & Budget. Details on how to make car reservations are on our website www.HikeInTucson.com
