Canyon Lake in Arizona has a surface area of 955 acres and is the third and smallest of four lakes created along the Salt River. This is a beautiful lake to go boating if your going on a weekday, as the lake generally gets to capacity during the holidays and weekends; so get there early. The two other lakes along the river are Apache Lake and Roosevelt Lake which are upstream. The fourth is Saguaro Lake.
