International Marketing Co-ops for FY10
During FY10 the Trade and Media Relations Division will conduct several co-operative marketing projects geared to increase consumer awareness about Arizona in key international markets and drive business to partnering tour operators. Infogolf Consumer Campaign: October – June 2010, Mexico
AOT will partner with Infogolf in Mexico on a co-operative marketing project targeting high-end consumers interested in golf. Components of the project include sponsorship of six tournaments, advertisements and editorial coverage in Infogolf Magazine, inclusion on six episodes of La Ruta del Golf and editorial coverage in Reforma. Best Girlfriend Consumer Campaign: January 2010, Germany
In early 2010, AOT will partner with a major tour operator and the leading women’s magazine Brigitte to promote Arizona as the perfect “girlfriends getaway” destination. Ranch to Resort Consumer Campaign: January – October 2010, UK
AOT will partner with American Round Up and Ranch America, two leading UK Ranch tour operators, to promote Arizona ranch stays and vacation extensions. In addition to direct mail and e-blasts, this campaign will be promoted at large consumer events in the UK popular with horse enthusiasts such as country fares, competing events, horse shows. Diners Club Credit Card Promotion: February 2010, Germany
AOT will partner with Diners Club Germany and a leading German tour operator on a consumer campaign to promote Arizona to its 55,000 members through credit card inserts and in the Diners Club Magazine. The Perfect View Consumer Campaign: February 2010, UK
AOT will run a large consumer campaign showcasing Arizona’s perfect views. Travel Trade Gazette/Fly Drive Promotion: March 2010, UK
AOT will partner with a leading UK tour operator to offer a booking incentive for UK travel agents, with the prize being a vacation for two to Arizona for the top selling agent. The promotion will run for one month in March/April 2010 using both print and online media to promote travel to Arizona in the Summer/Fall 2010.
