Several years ago – as we made our first steps into the social media world – we created the Flickr group Arizona Passages so that people interested in Arizona photography could share that passion with us, and with others. Here are just a few of the photos that have been shared with us in our Flickr group – and also entered in previous photo contests (more on that later!)
This first photo – taken at Wild Horse Pass in Chandler – was a winner in one of our previous monthly contests. It was taken with a point and shoot camera, by an amateur photographer who was out for a walk on the hotel property.

Here are some other photographs that have been shared with our Flickr group over the past few years. To see more, just visit Arizona Passages on Flickr.
We’re excited to announce that we are now hosting our monthly photo contests on our own website, arizonaguide.com. Entries are being accepted now for the August voting period – and photos entered after July 31st will be entered in our September contest.
Here’s how to enter – go to our new photo contest page – and click on “Submit Your Photo.” You will be taken through a very simple one-screen upload process. Once the voting period begins (at the start of every month) you’ll then be able to share your entered photo on Facebook and invite your friends and family to admire your work and place a vote for your entry.
In addition to bragging rights, the winner will receive a nifty Tamrac camera backpack ($100 value) – perfect for toting your camera along on your next Arizona photography outing.
