I am originally from the northern Philippines and have resided in Prescott for the past five years.
I became interested in photography as a hobby three and a half years ago with the birth of my daughter. About six months ago I began shooting landscapes near my home, including Watson Lake. I am blessed to live in Northern Arizona which affords me many photo opportunities.
This image of Watson Lake was taken on the lower level of the west side of the lake looking to the north. The afternoon of November 28, 2011 was one of many trips I've made to Watson Lake to capture the beauty of the Granite Dells. I was taking pictures from the upper level of the Dells when I saw three hikers going down the trail and I decided to follow them. It was at this moment that I discovered this stunning reflection of the Granite Dells. I consider myself lucky to have been able to capture the beauty of the still water and the Dells with just the right lighting conditions.
