Santa Cruz Nature & Heritage Festival
through May 4, 2014
The Santa Cruz Nature and Heritage Festival is a local organization, presently seeking it's non-profit status, formed to help educate participants about the rich history, cultural heritage and the natural beauty of Santa Cruz County, Arizona. We are offering a variety of fully guided birding tours, nature walks, historical and cultural tours. We have also scheduled a variety of on site classes for participants to choose from, offering them the opportunity to learn from local and state experts on issues ranging from history, local culture and nature topics. Included in the activities will be both birding and cultural jaunts into Northern Sonora, Mexico as an added feature.
This is a fun filled, educational, multiple day event which allows the participants the opportunity to customize their choice of options to fit their interests. Each class and tour is listed as an independent activity so everyone can pick and choose what they would like to do. Also included in the Festival will be offering a Gala Dinner Event showcasing Santa Cruz County's famous hospitality.
